Operation Santa Claus Toy Stop

Over the course of 2007, the GAP Broadcasting stations in Shreveport, LA., helped a local Haughton woman, Jill Picou, in her efforts to deliver dry goods to the Armed Forces on a regular basis. Her goal of 200 packages was quickly exceeded and at present we’ve delivered over 2,000 packages. Sgt. Michelle Adkins was one of those recipients and upon her return to America she stopped by our stations to make a presentation of an American Flag flown over Military Headquarters in Iraq in our honor and plaque stating such.
